Coleg y Groes - a small retreat house in North Wales
Coleg y Groes is set between the
12th century parish church of Corwen and the forest and mountain. It is quiet
and hidden, but has easy access by road or public transport. The house, built as
Almshouses in 1750, is a centre for
developing and exploring spirituality through retreats
and
quiet days. We welcome people from any or no Christian tradition for
individually guided retreats or private retreats - or you may be looking for
some quiet space to rest, read, relax and maybe talk something through. This is
a small house so we are able to be flexible and can often fit in someone at
short notice. Small groups are also welcomed for a day or longer.
Corwen in a good centre for discovering North Wales. there are mountains, woodlands, streams and rivers to explore as well as special places to visit.

health we now need to sell the two houses that form Coleg y Groes - St. Non's
(the house across the garden) and the almshouses which form Coleg y Groes
